Question: My 09 Crown Victoria is pulling 0.70 amps while the car is turned off? Posted: 23 Jul 2016 05:22 PM PDT The first thing to check is for bad light switches in the trunk, glove box, and lighted vanity visors, light under the hood, etc, any light that might stay on due to a bad switch. Find each door plunger switch, carefully inspect them for cracks for the spring not springing. Open and close each door and the trunk. Alternator may have a bad switch. Disconnect the heavy alternator wire and see if drain stops. After the basics it is simply a one fuse at time exercise. |
