Question: Can you pass on a road with no lines? Posted: 29 Jan 2016 08:33 AM PST You may pass on most two-lane highways unless it is otherwise posted. That there was no lines on the road or signs telling you otherwise means it was okay to pass on the left if it was safe. Some people just like to get pissy is all. |

Question: Should I pay for CDL class A training on my own or do company sponsored? Posted: 29 Jan 2016 12:44 AM PST If you want to drive CDL-A, you're pretty much going to do OTR for the first 2-3 years anyway. NOBODY is going to hire an inexperienced driver to do local delivery driving in city traffic with a Class A (tractor-trailer) type vehicle. You NEED the OTR experience to learn how to manage your time AND your vehicle before you can do local driving. Pick up a telephone and call a couple of recruiters for different trucking companies. See what they have to offer for "Free" training. |
