Question: Is it legal for a 2017 locomotive to exist in mid-2016 as well? Posted: 29 Jan 2016 11:07 AM PST a) yes As with most anything (especially transportation things) the new model year is being produced well before the next year! If we had to wait for the calendar year to change, you wouldn't be able to buy a 2016 car, airplane, locomotive or much of anything now because the factory would have had to wait to buy 2016 materials until Jan.1st, then make whatever, then ship whatever. It would be mid year before they became readily available. I owned 1 car once that was a 1976 per title. It was bought and registered first in 1976, but it was actually a 1974! |

Question: Why are railroad tracks private property? Posted: 29 Jan 2016 07:43 AM PST Railroad tracks may be private or public property. In my state New Jersey Transit owns many miles of railroad track. And passenger trains are common carriers. That means anyone who pays a fare has a right, an absolute right to ride on the train. If you have paid for your ticket you cannot be refused admission to a train. But all railroads be they public or private have the right to exclude people from their property or climbing on their cars. This is trespassing. The obvious reason for enforcing the law is that it is extremely dangerous to wander around railroad tracks or climb on cars. |
Question: To what stop do i take the 2 train to get me to 168-25 jamaica ave? Posted: 27 Jan 2016 05:06 PM PST The 2 train only goes to the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. The address 168-25 Jamaica Avenue is in Queens. You cannot take the 2 train to 168-25 Jamaica Avenue. You take the 2 train to the 14 Street / 7 Avenue stop in Manhattan, and transfer there to the Queensbound F train to Queens and take it to the 169th Street stop. |
