Question: Why is my car payment still the same? Posted: 22 Nov 2016 09:55 AM PST If this was GAP insurance and that's the only thing that makes sense, what will happen is the refund amount will go to your lender which will shorten the term and lower the amount you owe but you don't get the cash because you haven't paid for it. There is no refinancing. Rest assured you SHOULD have cancelled it so that's a good thing even though your payment isn't changed. I don't know how long your loan is for but now it will be shorter. You will save interest on the amount of the GAP and if you mistakenly overpay near the end, they will refund you. (But chances are you will trade out of it before then) |
Question: Used car transmission fails after first payment.? Posted: 22 Nov 2016 09:44 AM PST Transmissions on Taurus's fail a lot. You can consider just not paying anymore. But the downside is it could ruin your credit for 7 years and they could sue you over it. But they might not. Most people who use BHPH dealers wouldn't pay and the dealers know they cant expect to be paid. Although your contract says you will. |

Question: Toyota Tacoma or tundra and why? Pros cons etc? Posted: 22 Nov 2016 09:33 AM PST I'm looking at a new truck soon as we have a toddler and another baby on the way. I also need a bed for firewood and home depot runs. I like the style of both Tacoma and tundra and the reputation Toyota has for reliable durable trucks. Either one would be 4 door 4x4. What are the pros and cons of each and what is more reliable and suited for a family. |
