Question: What is the physical difference between a running light and a parking light? Posted: 15 Nov 2016 09:13 AM PST Running and parking lights on motor vehicles are two separate illumination devices. They are never integrated beyond both being part of the light assembly housing. For example, the amber light on the left end of this BMW is the parking light, where the circular halo lights around the main headlights are the running lights. |

Question: Are tinted side markers legal in California? Posted: 15 Nov 2016 07:26 AM PST I have a 2012 camaro and those Orange and Red reflectors on the side of the car are just not looking good with the white paint. I've been looking online and been getting various results, some say you cant tint side reflectors but not front and rear detectors, some say its completely legal and some say its a guaranteed ticket. The biggest answer I've heard is it is illegal, but a cop would really only ticket you for it if he was being a d!ck or if you were pulled over for something else before he noticed the tint. In my past experience I've had a friend who had his mustang sidemarkers tinted when he got pulled over for speeding, and the cop didn't say a thing about it. Would appreciate some clarification and (if possible) the vehicle code. Thank you! |
Question: Why is the car industry not moving forward? Posted: 15 Nov 2016 03:01 AM PST It is, but they have to make tentative steps.
