Question: Hows the honda cbr500r for beginners? Posted: 22 Nov 2016 08:25 PM PST I would say the Ninja 650 is at the large end of what you should be learning on. It's not outrageously huge but a smaller bike would be easier to learn on. All the others are fine, in fact the Ninja 300 and CBR500s are really designed as trainers. The cbr500r is the sportier version. It has a more aggressive riding position and more sport-bike styling. The 500f is more a standard, upright seating, more comfortable. I strongly recommend you learn to ride on a used bike. Because you're likely to be very hard on your first bike. |
Question: Motorcycle part name? Posted: 22 Nov 2016 04:29 PM PST Motorcycle adjuster plate http://www.jpcycles.com/motorcycle-axle-adjuster-plates The chain will be very loose until it jumps the sprocket, winds itself around the axle and stops you. |

Question: Which is better a 4 stroke Moped or a 2 stroke Moped? Posted: 21 Nov 2016 11:11 PM PST My experience is a bit out of date, but I have driven both a Honda C50L 4-stroke moped and a Tomos 2-stroke. The Honda was much more reliable and was easier to maintain. Among other things the Tomos was very sensitive to the amount of oil in the fuel mix: too much and the exhaust got clogged up with carbon deposits, too little and it quickly overheated risking engine damage. |
