Question: Would it be better to refinance my car or buy a new one? Posted: 13 Jul 2014 09:09 PM PDT Would it be better to refinance my car or buy a new one? About a year ago, I bought a car from one of those "no credit, no problem" dealerships and got an interest rate of about 20% (no comments on my poor financial decision lol). Anyway, in about a month, I will be getting between 6 and 10 thousand dollars and I was wondering if it would be a better idea to refinance for a lower interest rate or trade in my car and use the money as a down payment for another car. Keep in mind, the only credit I have is from the payments on my current car, which is a 2004 Honda Accord Coupe EX. Thank you for your advice! |
Question: HID Projector Shrouds? Posted: 13 Jul 2014 08:42 PM PDT I'm look to purchase HID projector Shrouds for a E92 BMW... to put onto my Honda Accord 13'.. I'm curious if all Projector Shrouds are the same size and fit every model, I'm yet to purchase the HID projector but I'm still curious about the shroud.. there are people selling both together, not the same shroud but still, whats your view on this? |
Question: Best cars for teens?Any suggestions on a good starter car for first time drivers? Posted: 13 Jul 2014 08:20 PM PDT A $4000-$5000 4 cylinder beater that you won't feel sad when you scratch or total it. But not something that's too crappy that it needs to be fixed every 3 seconds. I always recommend an old Toyota Corolla or Ford Focus. Or a Honda Civic that isn't owned by anyone under the age of 21. Very reliable cars with low cost of ownership |
Question: Need to get a cheap car w/ little money down, bad credit? Posted: 13 Jul 2014 07:54 PM PDT I understand your need, but $100 down and $100 a month in not going to get you a car. With bad credit, you won't find anyone willing to lend you money, whatever you can pay. You could try a scumbag buy-here-pay-here car dealer who doesn't care about your credit, but just be aware that his cars are usually overpriced junk and that his loan interest rates are super-high. But this is the price you pay for getting yourself into a bad credit situation. Your credit is one of the most important things in your adult life and should be preserved and protected. With bad credit, your financial life is likely to be a continuing downward spiral -- unless you take steps to fix it and change your spending habits. |
Question: Signed a truck over to someone? Posted: 13 Jul 2014 07:25 PM PDT Your brother wasn't too smart in this deal. Even with a written agreement or contract, there's not much he can do if the guy doesn't have the money and can't pay. He can sue all he wants but, as they say, you can't get blood from a turnip. If your brother in law has a bank loan, that's even worse. The bank doesn't care about the truck or who has it or who did what with it. All they want is the money that your brother in law borrowed and promised o pay back. They just want their money. In fact, your brother in law violated his contract with the bank, which means they could require the balance of the loan in CASH right now, no more monthly payments. |
