RX8 STARTS AND DIES AT IDLE. PLEASE HELP?

So here is the situation. I got off work and got in my car and started it up. when i did the check engine light came on, the battery light came on, and for some reason the traction control light came on. Right after it started up, it died. So i started it again and it did the same thing. The third time i gave it gas and it stayed alive as long as a kept giving it a little gas. I replaced the battery and it didn't help the problem. I did a two step fuel additive to clear out the injectors and what not, didn't solve the problem. I am able to drive it and it runs but once i let it go to an idle the rpms slowly drop and it dies. Is this a bad fuel pump? It all just started happening when i got off work. It had been running fine previously and i drove it to work without any issues.

Question: Chevy Rear End Rebuild Estimate?

Posted: 15 Jul 2014 03:00 PM PDT

$500 on the low end.

If the rear end is bad, go find another one from that vintage truck, and swap it in. It is FAR cheaper and easier to swap a complete rear with the gears you want in it, than it is to buy the gears and have someone else do a proper install. Shop labor is pricey, and setting up the crush sleeve setup in this axle takes time, expertise, and proper tools. It's not an easy job to do correctly. Thus the "crazy" cost to re-gear, vs. the cost of buying an existing rear axle.

Additionally, a worthwhile improvement would be to put the 9.5"/14SF rear axle in that truck. If yours is 5 lug you might be out of luck, but they did make the 9.5" in 6 and 8 lug that vintage, so it would be a bolt in if the lug #'s are the same.

Question: 99 Integra interior lights stopped working?

99 Integra interior lights stopped working?

I have a automatic 1999 Acura Integra. I was trying to replace the gear shifter light and after I took out the bulb, all of the interior lights stopped working. The glove compartment, ac controls, gauge cluster. How can I fix this? All the bulbs are new so it's not the bulb.
