what is a reverse around in railroads?

I was listening to my radio scanner today and heard a conversation between the engineer and dispatch. The engineers asked if the was still ok to reverse around? The dispatch said yea go ahead an reverse around. The train blew by pretty quick and clearly never reversed the train. Any idea what this means?

Chances of RAC getting confirmed?

I have booked 3 RAC tickets from Delhi to Mumbai 2nd AC Rajdhani today. The current position from RAC 8, 9 and 10 is RAC 4, 5 and 6 respectively. The train leaves on 28th july. What are the chances of RAC getting confirmed in 2 weeks?

or you can purchase the return ticket also between Y and X from station X ,

but that might be not possible as per my knowledge to purchase unreserved tickets between any station ,
