I then turned gain knobs up until it sounded just barely auidibly distorted then i turned it back down a bit so its at max volume. I have been listening to them for 2 weeks. now today i hear a random slight cracking in my rear speakers, not sure if the front too havent checked cuz they are by my feet so harder to tell. BUT, just today i turned up a song to 27, its loud and clear, then either all of a sudden it will start to do it, or maybe if i switch songs. thus its random.. my speakers arent blown. they are rated 75rms and am giving them no where near. maybe 60rms Max but realistically im probably giving them all 50wrms. also when i hear this noise it has nothing to do with volume, i can actually hear it better at a medium volume, but there is NONE at low volumes. and last, my subsonic filter on my amp, i tried to set at about 60hz ish, but its hard to tell the exact number when using a knob, so i also have a HPF set on my headunit at 63hz for all my speakers. so again they arent abused what so ever and are awesome few years old rare eclipse 6x9s. every conection on my amp has spade terminals for great connection. ground is super clean and was grinded to clean metal. battery is only a couple feet away from amp cuz battery is underneath back seat, so this makes me believe my rcas are causing this.</p>  </div><img src="http://pixel.quantserve.com/pixel/p-89EKCgBk8MZdE.gif" border="0" height="1" width="1" /></div>  </td>  </tr>  <tr>  <td style="margin-bottom:0;line-height:1.4em;">  <p style="margin:1em 0 3px 0;">  <a name="3" style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18px;" href="https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20150917020001AA318iC">Question: Stereo not turning on. 180sx?</a>  </p>  <p style="font-size:13px;color:#555;margin:9px 0 3px 0;font-family:Georgia,Helvetica,Arial,Sans-Serif;line-height:140%;font-size:13px;">  <span>Posted:</span> 17 Sep 2015 02:00 AM PDT</p>  <div style="margin:0;font-family:Georgia,Helvetica,Arial,Sans-Serif;line-height:140%;font-size:13px;color:#000000;"><div id="">Hello<p>If you mean the 2 X 8 pin ISO connector blocks. One will have 8 thin wires, They are your speaker wires. The other one will have 6 or 7 wires, 3 Thicker ones. Red Switched Power, Yellow Permanent Power and Brown? Earth. One of the thinner ones will be the Electric Aerial trigger (That one is obviously correct) there will also be one for the Radio lights On/Off with the car lights. With a sealed box, you'll get some nice tight punchy bass.<p>In my experience, ported boxes are louder and boomy. Every sub is different. Some subs perform better in sealed, some subs perform better in ported.
