Question: Why do parking lot attendants make people reverse into parking spaces at sporting events? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 07:20 PM PDT Everybody is going to leave that lot at the same time, when the game is over. With a mass exodus, it's far more efficient, and safer, if everybody can drive out forward, rather than back out, then drive forward. When I was commuting by train, I'd back into my parking spot for the same reason. It's much easier and safer to leave when I could do it in one motion. ![]() |
