immediately they're called Stan Wrecker in Houston Texas. I called my roadside assistance however the responding officer force me to allow Stans Wrecker to hook my car and remove it off the street. They moved me to a parking lot across the street from where the accident took place. I contacted my insurance company and per their advice I allowed them to take my car. The very next day I received a call from the Stan's Wrecker company asking me to come in and sign forms to release my car to my insurance company. I show up 3 hours later after the phone call. The very next the adjuster from my insurance company went to appraise my car and tow my car from the lot. They refused to provide my adjuster with the payment amount. Now they're trying to charge $3,000 my car at their storage unit. They are saying that I requested them to fix my car, but later changed my mind. I never wanted them to touch my car let alone fix it. My claim for the accident hasn't even been processed, I wasn't at fault in the accident. I don't know what to do, I believe they are taking advantage of me because my car is newer and I'm female. I need my car back.
