Question: Which has more power? 50cc two-stroke or 100cc four-stroke? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 05:27 PM PST Typically, a 50cc 2-stroke moped engine will develop 3 to 4 bhp and a 100cc 4-stroke motorcycle engine will develop around 9 to 11bhp. However, engines have different power outputs, depending on their application. You haven't told us what application your hypothetical engines are for, have you? |
Question: Jump start - motorcyle = HARLEY? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 04:08 PM PST You can start your motorcycle from your car, but do NOT start the engine of the car while you have the cables hooked up. Make sure both systems are the same voltage. Should say it on the batteries. |
Question: My Honda 300ex battery is reading 11.49 volts. Is this enough to start the bike? Posted: 03 Dec 2015 12:43 PM PST If a 12v battery is only reading 11.5, it's basically flat. You need to recharge it. A good battery should read slightly over 12V with no load being drawn. |
Posted: 03 Dec 2015 12:38 PM PST Always best to state the Make, Model and Year of your motorbike/cycle. You'll need to give a better discription of that 'mist', as in color and weather it's oily or watery. |
Posted: 03 Dec 2015 11:49 AM PST This will be a hard one to find so search eBay and I wish you luck. Check with your local motorcycle dealers to see if they know of a local 'fix-it' motorcycle guy, usually an older guy that knows his poop and might even have a small collection of different bikes, you're shooting at chances but that bike is on the older-side of the block so go with what you can find. If you live anywhere near the Oregon Coast, I might be able to help out a little and there is a local rider/mechanic that knows all sorts of in and out about older Japanese bikes, I know Yamaha and a few Euro-brands but sorry, not Honda per se. |
