Question: What are my chances of sueing a private seller for selling a bad motorcycle? Posted: 25 Dec 2015 09:33 PM PST I bought a motorcycle from a friend of a friend that said he had a good solid running bike. I drove to the seller's house and he showed me the bike, started it up, and told me it is safe to ride. He delivers the bike to my house willingly and i sign a bill of sale stating the bike is sold "as-is" and with no warranty. A couple weeks later he texts me this in exact words. I then proceed to start up the bike and it fails to start. I take it to shop and they give me a whole list of problems. They emailed me an invoice stating 3,800 dollars in repair. They also tell me the carbs need to be worked on since they were filled with gunk. Later, i call the seller and find out the bike has been sitting for more than 8 years. He basically lied in text saying the carbs were cleaned and neglected to mention the motorcycle didn't have an air filter after i purchased it. I later also find out that he has a criminal record of assault and used my money to pay his lawyers already. I want to take this case to small claims but i'm not sure if my chances are high at winning with the evidence i have now. |

Question: How to remove the spring on a Honda CBR 600 F2 rear shock.? Posted: 25 Dec 2015 06:18 PM PST Never did shocks for a bike, but all springs need to be compressed before removal. I got mine from an auto parts store. They let me use them for free. All I had to do was leave a credit card number with them in case I didn't return them they would charge me for them. I took them back a few days later and never got charged. |

Question: 2009 er6n gas mileage terrible? Posted: 25 Dec 2015 03:37 PM PST Are you relying on a fuel gauge? If so you need some lessons. Lesson One- Check the odometer when you fill up. Ride for a while and fill up again. Note the odometer readins from first to second, figure out the MPG of your bike and say 'Screw you Fuel gauge'. |
Question: What kind of license do i need to drive my trike? Posted: 25 Dec 2015 03:13 PM PST A cheap Chinese 50cc trike? A Boss Hoss Trike? Where in the world? Either is legal on a California Class-C (car) driver's license. |
