If it had hydrolocked it would have stalled out. but if it just... like petered out and died gently like the electricity went out, that's something else. a hydrolock kind of shakes violently then stops suddenly and it would have happened while you were on the puddle or a moment after, as soon as water got in the cylinders.</p><p>yes, take spark plugs out and allow it to fully dry before trying to start it again. Do not put anything inside the cylinders to try to dry it like yarn or something, cause if you lose it in there that's a biiiig problem. Theres how-tos out there demonstrating sticking things in the cylinders to absorb water, but just don't chance it.</p><p>if its not hydrolocked you may have just gotten your distributor wet. when
