Question: Car crash with someone driving on the opposite side of the road? Posted: 07 Dec 2015 08:58 AM PST It s kind of complicated so bear with me: My mom was driving me and my brother to school this morning. We were getting ready to make a left turn(she put the signal on) when a pickup truck tried to pass us(he didn t realize we were making a turn) right as she wen t in to make the turn, since she saw that the coast was clear in front of her, he quickly drove to the wrong side of the road and hit us. He then proceeded to drive away. We followed because that was our first instinct. We thought he was trying to hit and run. We followed him until he pulled into a church. But this was obviously wrong because if he stayed where we crashed it was obvious he was on the wrong side of the road. His car was a pickup and there was a tail thing attached so there was no damage on his car. On our bmw, the door wasn t able to close, there was a lot of bumper damage, our car wasn t able to turn on afterwards. The police were really unhelpful but they basically told us, "He has his own story". I m just wondering, is there any way he could possibly make this look like it was our fault, when he was on the wrong side(left side) of the road? Since he hit us on the left side of our car. |

Question: Intersection Car accident yield question? Posted: 07 Dec 2015 06:07 AM PST There is no such thing as a "yield green light." If an opposing car has a red light, you would have a green or amber left turn arrow. A driver doing a "right on red" yields to all other traffic. http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/... (a) A driver facing a steady circular red signal alone shall stop... |
