of my driveway and while i was backing up (not pressing the gas), my wheel locked or something and lost control and by the time i hit the brakes, i hit the parked car. The car was parked on the grass near the road, not in their own driveway, i kind of feel i wouldn't have hit anything if it would've been in their own driveway and not the grass. My bumper messed up, and their car only got a dent and some scratches. I was very late to work so I told my mom to leave them a note, but they never did. I ended up speaking to the owners and they said they want to call the police, and that i messed up their axel. I don't believe a small hit like that can mess up an axel and i feel as if they are trying to rip me off and take advantage of me. I have never got into an accident and I am afraid it will make my insurance rates higher, and if they report it as a hit and run ill get a 500$ ticket.
