Question: What are some examples of pilots crashing a perfectly functioning aircraft? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 03:35 AM PDT Singapore Airlines Flight 6 (SQ006) on October 31, 2000. The B747-400 took off from a runway that was closed for construction. As the plane accelerated down the runway, it hit construction equipment and broke into 3 pieces; killing 83 out of 179 people on board. There was a typhoon approaching the airport at that time too. |
