Providing us with brand and model information is much better than just quoting specs, because if we know the brand and model we can look up the information we need. Posted: 17 Aug 2015 06:04 PM PDT no, the device will take a damage from overheating. when increasing (peaking) the hf output power, there is more current that flows through the final transistor, which causes then more heat and because cb-radios (usually) dont have a fan to cool the final transistor, the final transistor soon damages from overheating. beside that, its illegal. |
