and I typically get between 76-82MPG. My best was 88MPG, but I've dipped in the 60's when I ride a lot of wide-open-throttle, or really revving the crap out of the engine. On about a 100mi or so of all highway, keeping up with traffic in the 2 lane (2nd from the right), I've gotten 76MPG. Well, I cleaned the air filter and oiled it, soaked the jets in B-12, the whole carb in pinesol. Then rinsed the carb in water and then gave her a good blast of air with an air compressor. I set the air/fuel mix at 1 and 1/4 of a turn, and I bought a new coil wire. I tried it tonight and it has never ran this bad. Even just sitting, if you give it full throttle or even half, it hesitates/misses where it wont even rev up unless you slack off. The Sparkplug Is sooty, (a dry black soot, wipes off very easy) just like it always has been. I set the coilwire/cap to the side when I took the plug out and pushed the starter button, as the spark plug cap was touching the engine, sparks were coming off of the cap. No idea wtf that was about. I guess I'll try changing the air/fuel mix and check again.
