| Question: Anyone explain how leasing a car works? Posted: 14 Aug 2015 08:48 PM PDT Basically the bank buys the car (so the car dealer and manufacturer get paid) The bank then "rents" the car to you. You pay all sorts of fees and interest, so they make a profit too. Then you have to give the car back, which is then sold and the bank gets the rest of their money back. Everyone makes a profit, except you. You end up with nothing at the end, not even a used car. |

| Question: If I buy a car for $27,000, how much will the monthly payment be? Posted: 14 Aug 2015 05:40 PM PDT depends on your down payment and your APR (interest rate) and how many years the loan is, there are many god car loan calculators online. So if you put down $ 3,000 at 9% for 48 months is $ 598 But if you put down $ 5,000 at 6% for 60 months is $ 425 |
