boyfriend's radio stopped working a little over a week ago (around the same time his battery was having issues -he just bought a new battery, as well) purchased a new radio for his car. We spent two hours removing the paneling and his old radio to begin installation on the new one. The issue is, we're not sure what color wires connect to what. Since his car is an older model and not very popular, we can't find any information on it. His new radio is a Pioneer MVH-X171UI (I believe). I know the newer radio has yellow, white, black and white, gray, gray and black, purple, green, and red wires. (Maybe more. Can't remember.) and his car is equipped with the same colored wires inside the dash. I also have a kenwood KAC-5001PS amplifier. I was driving the other day when I noticed the bass wasn't working. I checked the wiring and everything was fine. Took the subwoofer out, testing it on my friends car and it was working just fine, so it isn't blown. Then tune the radio to the same channel, and listen to whatever is playing on the phone.</p><p>I got mine from a local shop for ~$20, and it also plays files from SD cards or USB drives.
