Question: Failed a PA licenses test by yielding too long? Posted: 29 Oct 2015 07:41 AM PDT When you dawdle too long at a yield or stop sign you impede the flow of traffic. That's an offense that you can be cited for by the police. Any offense that you can be cited for by the police is an automatic fail of the test, whether you are issued a citation or not. You need to learn how to efficiently negotiate all traffic conditions without impeding the orderly flow of traffic or creating hazards for other road users. If you are too afraid to move when it is clear to do so, you need more practice and instruction. ![]() |
Posted: 29 Oct 2015 06:24 AM PDT Good question. Really good question, in fact. Not only is it worded well, but it's a valid and honest question and the answer is something you really need to know. But you're asking in the wrong place. Only your agent / broker can give you the information you need, nobody else. Even if an underwriter from Nationwide (Virginia office) were to log in here and read your question, they still wouldn't answer it. That info is highly confidential, and this place is not. I've worked in auto insurance for over 15 years, and I can say that your premiums will probably go up on your next renewal. Probably a lot, in fact. But note that important word, probably. That's because, while I'm one of the smartest insurance brokers who ever lived (it's true), I'm not your broker. I think you now know where to ask this question for an answer you can trust. ![]() |
Question: How much is car insurance for female under 20 in the UK each year? Posted: 29 Oct 2015 06:22 AM PDT Gender differential on insurance premiums in the UK ended a few years ago so male and female pay the same. As for cheap under 20 years of age motor insurance, there's no such thing. The best you can hope for is least expensive and even then you'll be looking at four figures starting probably with a 2, 3 or even a 4 Location, experience and vehicle type all contribute to final cost. You may get a better deal if a more experienced driver is included on the policy as an ADDITIONAL (not main) driver ![]() |
Posted: 29 Oct 2015 04:26 AM PDT Some states will issue a license if your old license is expired up to a year. Once you hit two years you are pretty much SOL and will have to take the vision, written, and road tests to get licensed again. NY won't even let you schedule the test unless you have a license or permit in hand so it's probably going to take two trips to get this resolved. That said, while living abroad, did you have a license from the host nation? If you did, that may suffice to get your NY license without having to take the road test. You will still have to take the vision and written tests. ![]() |
