Question: How dangerous is it to save someone from a burning car? How likely would it explode? Posted: 25 Oct 2015 11:17 PM PDT Exploding cars are a movie special effect. Now a car can burn fiercely, and you don't want to get trapped in one, or breath in the smoke. So you need to be careful. But if someone is trapped, do your best, as their best chance of rescue is in those first minutes. When the fire brigade gets there in 10 mins they will likely be toast, or at least dead from the smoke. |

Question: Can I sleep in my car with a heated blanket? Posted: 25 Oct 2015 07:28 AM PDT Where would you get the power source with which to heat the blanket. Never safe to sleep on the side of the road. |
Question: Correctly turning a car? Posted: 24 Oct 2015 07:41 PM PDT On most cars, 2.5 to 3.25 turns from the center to either direction (left, or right) before it stopped (Can't turn it anymore). That would turns the front wheels to the direction you are turning, an angle of no more than 65 degrees. You turn your car based on the feedback you get from turning it. Most of the turns (normal driving), you only need less than half of a turn. 3/4 when I turned hard. I like it more in a sport car. I don't have to turn that much and the turn is more stable. |
