Posted: 25 Mar 2015 02:25 AM PDT Car accidents account for between 30,000 and 50,000 deaths a year. Right now we should be focusing on the future of driverless cars on the ground made from smart material and connected to the internet of things that will get you to where you need to go. In the far future, maybe 50 or 60 years from now, i believe that we will see flying cars guided by the same principles. Cars by then will be made of claytronic materials and be wired to a system much more intelligent than our old fashioned highways. in conclusion - i agree with him when it comes to the foreseeable future, but in the far future, flying, smart, and driverless cars will be inevitable. even if there are risks, by then it will be extremely minimal compared to the risk we face today. focus on the ground now - and the skies tomorrow. that is my take! |
