Question: Link to a good, affordable amp to power two 10" kicker subs (Silver, 800 watts each)? Posted: 23 Mar 2015 02:58 PM PDT I have no idea what the RMS power is, I have no idea what the impedance is, I have no idea if you have the DVC 2 ohm or the DVC 4 ohm version, etc... What I need to know is a model number. Without it, I cannot recommend anything for you. |
Question: How to do the whole ground wire thing when setting up amp and subs into my 2003 BMW 325i? Posted: 23 Mar 2015 02:56 PM PDT How hard can making a good ground for your amplifier be? Don't make this any harder for yourself buddy. You need to get some sandpaper to clean off any paint and debris. You will NOT have a good ground connection if there's paint on the metal. To make a ground connection, you will need a tool that is powerful enough to drill through the metal of your car. You will need to get a lock washer and a bolt to tighten down your ground connection. Most people like to use the factory grounding point. This way, they will not have to drill through the metal of their car to make a ground connection. Some cars have that, some cars don't. If your car does not, you will need to make your own ground connection. |
