If the jobs worth it, then up to an hour each way would be reasonable, the fact that its mostly open roads will probably help. Two hours of sitting in city traffic would be a lot more stressful.

If you can, try and use the time usefully, I learnt German and listened to dozens of audio books while commuting.

My longest commute was 220 miles a day - mostly on motorways outside of rush-hours so 'only' took an hour and half each way.

My shortest commute was 24ft - lived in a flat above the shop.
