Question: How much will buying a car cost all together? Posted: 30 Mar 2015 07:09 PM PDT I know you can't give me an exact answer, but an estimate would be nice. If I pay for a car in cash, $5k-$6k, what will i be looking at in fees and taxes? I think I know what taxes will be, from what I can remember taxes will be around 100 dollars. Does that sounds right to you? I got that number when I was looking into taxes when someone gives a car to someone else..taxes were based off the year of the car. |
Question: Which of these car brands is best for reliability, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, or Toyota? Posted: 30 Mar 2015 07:04 PM PDT I have to go with Honda i had a Honda car and guess how long it lasted. (17 yrs and still works. The mileage is also really high) I've done some research and most people point to Honda. I did say that but in my opinion the best cars are Toyota. They keep innovating and come up with unique features. I'd considered them the head of car innovation. Im not sure if you know, but the only reason Ford has a hybrid system is because Toyota sold their old one. (Ford cant make their own :P) Hope i helped |
Question: I want to trade in but i still owe money on my loan.? Posted: 30 Mar 2015 05:40 PM PDT Like "Never" said, your issue would only get MUCH worse if you traded. With the stroke of a pen, you'd go from being $7K upside-down to being well over $10K. Journeys, unfortunately, have terrible resale value. If you have $7K lying around and want to use it to get out of the vehicle, great. If not, double-up on payments for awhile and see if you're caught up on the value in 2-3 year's time. There is never an easy way to "erase" negative equity, and no lender on the planet is going to carry over $7K in negative equity to a new loan. That practice ended with the "credit crunch" 7-8 years ago. |
