Question: I'm 6'4 280 and I'm thinking of getting my first motorcycle. What type should I get? Posted: 23 Mar 2015 07:58 PM PDT Question: I'm 6'4 280 and I'm thinking of getting my first motorcycle. What type should I get? Answer: No one can tell you want type motorcycle until you tell where and why you want to ride. Your brother in law's first bike was a Hayabusa -- he obviously wanted to ride in a straight line and damn the speed limits. If that is want you want to do, get a 'Busa. I have been riding for 50 years, want cheap transportation, and ride a Vespa 150. Tell me why you want to ride and I can give to a good suggestion. |
Question: Ok what size dirtbike is right for me? Posted: 23 Mar 2015 07:08 PM PDT You ride what you ride, MAYBE good maybe not so good. Us judging your first bike is difficult since we don't know you and/or know if you can walk and chew gum at the same time. Go sit on all those Honda's but do it with the thought that buying a nice used one of the one that feels comfotable isn't a bad choice, it's your first bike and you ride what you ride. Was going to suggest a BMW H2 but you WANT a Honda and Honda doesn't have a H2 so think the CRF 150R, if that bike rips your arms off it was MY mistake. |
