It's financially about the dumbest move you could make.<p>Go and find a GOOD 15--20k vehicle, that you can buy with minimal payments over a sensible time. Use most of your savings as there is no point leaving money in the bank, then borrowing it back at a much higher rate. Just keep a couple of thousand as a reserve. In 12 months you will own it, not have any payments, and be able to actually drive it and enjoy it.</p><p>OR, you tie yourself into high car payments for the next 5 years, on a car that's going to depreciate faster than you can pay it off. Could you do it? Probably, but you wont have a life. What good is a fancy car if you can't afford to take it on a road trip? got in a wreck where I t-boned a grown man who ran the red light and this was my first accident of course, my first anything with the law actually (no tickets, no accidents, etc) and I just want some tips. I'm okay, just a few bangs on the knee and shoulder but that's all. But mentally, if I'm not talking to someone, the crash just starts going through my head visually and I get scared and start crying.
