Question: Whats the most i should pay for a 2005 honda civic with 200,000 miles? Posted: 31 Mar 2015 09:30 PM PDT Look up the book values at KBB & NADA, Im guessing around $3k but I don't know what the books say. 200k miles should reduce the value by 30-40% over whatever is average for a 2005. |
Question: Can you void a used car contract if you never take the car off the lot? Posted: 31 Mar 2015 09:13 PM PDT Possibly. You'd lose your down payment for sure. Its hard to know if your deal was really funded or not. They would lie about it if they thought you were going to back out. But, if it really was funded, not picking it up might mean storage fees. |
Question: What is the most reliable car I can get for around or under 2 grand.? Posted: 31 Mar 2015 08:34 PM PDT You can choose car brands with only $2000 to spend. Its going to depend mostly an the individual cars mechanical condition more than anything. Have your mechanic check any car before you buy it. Dents & worn paint can help get the price down. But mechanical condition matters more than brand name. I drive a buick, not because they are better than a Honda, but because I got a car with half as many miles for half the money. |
Question: Getting used tahoe inspected? Posted: 31 Mar 2015 08:25 PM PDT Yes, he should. But 30 minutes is a bit at the high end. Might be better to bring your mechanic. But be upfront & ask rather than just taking it & going. I curbed cars for a dozen years and roughly 30 minutes was my limit. One guy wanted to take it an hour away and I said that's too far. (That's 2 hours +) Offer to put some gas in It if you don't buy it. |
