Question: Can I take my driver's test with the taillight broken in NJ? Posted: 25 Sep 2016 01:22 PM PDT never seen them check reverse lights. but they do check brake/turn/marker lights. if yours function, and there's no white showing through to confuse other drivers at night, likely good. as that IS legal. a simple lens crack w/o showing white is a non issue. long as they function. |

Question: I was traveling about 40 mph and hit a tree. Should my airbags went off.? Posted: 25 Sep 2016 07:01 AM PDT If your airbags did not go off and you lived, then they should not have gone off. If you were in an accident in which they should have gone off and they didn't, then you would be dead. Airbags should go off in accidents that would kill someone if the airbags did not go off. Airbags cannot and do not prevent a person from being injured. Their purpose is the exact opposite. It is so that they will only be injured and will not be killed. Whenever an airbag goes off, it causes some injury; the only way not to be injured is for the airbag not to go off. Although they do sometimes go off in an accident that wouldn't kill anyone even if they didn't go off, that's not their purpose, and not something that they "should" do, because it's unnecessary and very dangerous. |
