Question: Why do Kia's sell fairly low? Posted: 20 Sep 2016 04:47 PM PDT They aren't anywhere near as good as the better brands. You ever met anyone that decided to get a Kia instead of a Honda or Toyota if money wasn't the issue ? That said, way back when, 15+ years ago, I used to buy & sell cheap Kias all the time. I could get them for cheap...usually $800-1600 each and I was able to flip them for $600-850 profit fairy easily. I could get a much newer, lower mileage car as compared to a much older & higher mileage Honda or Toyota. They were not as good. Disposable is the term that was often used. |
Question: How do I buy a car of Craigslist without getting scammed? Posted: 20 Sep 2016 04:24 PM PDT A person who owns a car, has a title for it. He signs the title and gives it to you. That's the most important thing. Make sure the title says nothing about a lien from a bank. Sometimes, banks possess the title until the car is paid for so people who don't have the title to give you are always fraudulent. They still own money on the car. It can't be bought or sold. You may make a hand-written bill of sale, but the title is very important. He signed it. You take it to Division of Motor Vehicles and get a new title in your name and new plates for the car. How many miles on it? You should definitely take it for a test drive. Get on the freeway for a mile or so. Hondas are very good cars. It's always a chance buying a used car. Good luck. |
