| Question: Do I need to have my drivers permit for 6 months to get my license? Posted: 19 Sep 2016 02:08 AM PDT Six months is the absolute minimum in Nevada. If you've held your permit for 5 months and 29 days, you're still not eligible to take the licence exam. Six months minimum means six full months, and they do count right to the day. Nobody cares how badly you really really need your licence. You have to follow the law just like everyone else. If they made an exception for you, they'd have to make that same exception for everyone. That's why they won't make an exception for you. |
