Question: How to reset my 54 plate Ford Focus car radio to its factory settings? Posted: 14 Apr 2015 04:57 AM PDT I had work done on my car a few weeks ago and they replaced the battery, and since they done the work my radio is asking for a code. My problem is because the car was bought second hand I used the manual to reset the code to a number I though I would remember (I know I'm an idiot!) Anyway, forsome reason the page i wrote it on has been ripped out of the manual and now... I have been driving round with a dead radio and its SOOOO BORING!! Is there a way I can reset it to the factory settings. |

Question: How much does a sound system cost with a stereo , equalizer & subwoofers? Posted: 13 Apr 2015 11:41 PM PDT It all depends on the quality of which you are willing to buy. Lower end with the stereo, EQ, subs, amp, and wiring, you can be looking anywhere upwards of $550 at the minimum. From there it can just go up depending on if you're getting $50 subs, or $200 subs. And depending on how much power you're looking at putting out, you can be looking at even more money adding more batteries or a high output alternator.

Question: Can i replace the radio in a truck? Posted: 13 Apr 2015 08:02 PM PDT Yes go to Crutchfield.com they sell quality radios but more importantly you get a free install kit with all the stuff you need including step by step instructions for your particular model vehicle. You can also buy the install kit alone. EDIT FM transmitters only work if there aren't a lot of radio stations in your area if there is too much radio traffic you won't be able to find an empty station to transmit on if you drive long distances you may have to change stations from time to time to get clearer reception. |
