Question: What kind of wiring kit do I need? Posted: 18 Apr 2015 06:38 AM PDT Stay away from cheap CCA (copper clad aluminum) wiring kits. What you want is 100% pure OFC (oxygen free copper) wiring. For that amplifier, 8 awg is the way to go. I would highly recommend the Stinger SK6681. |

Question: Screeching noise from my car right speaker? Posted: 18 Apr 2015 02:59 AM PDT I have installed brand new Sony speakers 13' in my old Huyndai Excell 97..they have been working perfectly until someday with very little bass, the right speaker started screeching ! I had this problem with my right back speaker and i replaced them with new pioneers.. Note that it was because of the dust entering in them.. |
Question: I need help powering my ~1000W/70A@14.4V Class D car amplifier in my house.? Posted: 17 Apr 2015 11:04 PM PDT I've been doing a lot of research on the topic of trying to connect my car's subwoofer, amplifier, and capacitor inside my house via a 110V wall outlet. I need to power an Orion CO2400.1D amplifier with a Power Supply(or Converter) to change the 110V AC input to 12-14.4V DC output. My big question is: which power supply should I choose? I've talked to a lot of in-town stereo shops and I've gotten a lot of different answers. Most of them recommend an Astron Corp. power supply but those get pretty spendy and they "will burn up or shut off constantly with that kind of draw!" I've discovered that there are Pyramid, PowerMax, and Astron power supplies and was wondering which ones are better? Astron (http://www.astroncorp.com/showpage.asp?p... PowerMax (http://www.powermaxconverters.com/): Pyramid (not big enough so it's out) any help would be greatly appreciated! |
