building my first boat, plywood, epoxy, fiber glass... Help!?

Hello,
I am planing to build my first small boat (approx. 3m/1m50). the materials i was hoping to use were 4mm thick marine plywood, fiber glass, epoxy... Unfortunately in my country the lowest thickness available is 12mm, wish makes it impossible to bend to build a boat.
can i use other kind of wood, any Technics.. thanks for your help.

Easiest way is to push it. If you decide to back it in remember that turning steering wheel to the right makes rear of boat go left and vice versa.

Intended for different depths of water? Shorter chains mean cheapskate owner? Chain locker too small, won't hold full length? Repaired after broken?
