Question: What is the best deal for a car? Posted: 06 Nov 2014 09:31 AM PST You need to have a budget. Do not blow your entire savings on the down payment just to make your monthly payments smaller. Doing so will really bone you when it's time to do some repair work or general maintenance. And even cars that are on lease, brand new need maintenance. Bust out a budget for yourself. Look at what you'll make on a slightly below average month. Because you don't want to get your shifts cut only to still make car payments, insurance etc.... Once you work out a budget for what you can afford monthly, then you can determine what options you really have. Everyone loves the idea of a car with warranty, but if all you can afford is 100 bucks a month after other expenses plus money to savings, then you shouldn't even bother looking at new cars. A good deal, does not make for an affordable car. |
