I'm a big Fan of the Yamaha XT660X and sure that there is a lot of people who love the bike and there is nowhere to find it in the USA! I checked the yamaha site of Mexico, all South America and Europe have the bike and not USA.. Is there a reason?? Is there anyway u buy it from a different country and u shop it to the US?? Please help

In the ad it says "Engine rotate speed comes from the ignition signal. The sensor wire is normally contacted with the positive side of the magnetor or directly wired on the rectifier."
The first sentence of that is OK, the second garbled to the point of nonsense. I suspect you need to wire it into a low-voltage ignition lead, which could be problematic if you have a magneto. But more details of yourt bike are required - make, model, year, voltage, is your bike a contact type or contactless?

And don't forget that as this seems to rely on an ignition signal, it will not read RPM correctly unless designed for a 2 stroke - on a single, 2 revs= 1 spark on a 2 stroke, 4 revs= 1 spark on a 4 stroke.

I'd be asking the seller for more details and clear instructions.

I live in the U.S and i'm looking for a Derbi GPR50. I know a guy that found one on CraigsList but I don't think i'll ever be that lucky. Is there a site preferably a United States site that sells them?

Hi guys! I'm having a bit of troubling choosing a starter bike.
I am looking for something to ease me into riding, and it's come down to the CBR and the Rebel (although I'm not entirely opposed to Shadows either). Pros and Cons of both??

I am 5'3 and 110 lb so I'm not looking for anything super big (height/weight)

What would you recommend? Any female riders who have tried either of these bikes? What do you think.

Any and all advice for a first time rider is appreciated. I am taking a basic rider course but would still love all feedback. Thanks!
