Question: Railroad Crossing in the woods? Posted: 05 Nov 2014 06:12 PM PST Railroad Crossing in the woods? I heard something about a railroad crossing in Redding, CT. I think it's off of North Main Street, but I am not sure. There will be a road through there in the future but I would love to know the location of this crossing if you have any info, because I'm not even sure it's in Redding. Thanks so much -DoubleC |
Posted: 05 Nov 2014 12:02 PM PST Can I sue The Student Room if I accidentally jump in front of a train whilst waiting for my train home? I hear that so many people in my area (East Midlands, UK) seem to jump out in front of trains - thus causing delays and cancellations. Once, 2 different incidents happened twice within a week of each other! |
Question: What's going on with the trains from the west of Brighton to Brighton? Posted: 05 Nov 2014 08:17 AM PST For some reason, starting the 8th November, trains going to Brighton west-side have to change at Worthing and catch a bus to Brighton from thereon. There is no information as to why, and it's really annoying me and I have a few questions like: How will I identify the replacement bus compared to the coaches and other buses? Will my ticket to Brighton cover my journey via bus to get there? etc... |
Question: How much does an Amtrak round trip ticket cost for two adults? Posted: 04 Nov 2014 11:12 PM PST 128.00 USD Friday, December 5, 2014 Sunday, December 7, 2014 |
Question: How do Dual-Mode locomotives work? Posted: 04 Nov 2014 11:24 AM PST How do Dual-Mode locomotives work? Such as the P32 from Amtrak. When it's under 3rd rail power does it simply bypass the diesel engine? Also, I saw one in NY PENN Station once and it still sounded like the engine was running even though, to the best of my knowledge, only electric locomotives are allowed in the tunnels. How does the whole system work? |
