Question: If a learner's permit expires...? Posted: 15 Nov 2014 09:12 AM PST You should really mention what country you live in. I'm sure the laws are not consistent worldwide. Here in Victoria, Australia, the laws are as follows: -- Car learner permit is current or expired less than 5 years: You can renew your car learner permit by visiting a VicRoads Customer Service Centre, and: completing a licence or learner permit application form -- Car learner permit expired 5 years or more: If you have not held a learner permit in the last 5 years, you will need to sit the learner permit knowledge test again. |
Question: If a car has a bad-condition sticker on the windshield, can I not use it for a road test? Posted: 15 Nov 2014 08:25 AM PST If a car has a bad-condition sticker on the windshield, can I not use it for a road test? So I recently failed my road test, and have to retake it.. and I dont want to use my drivers ed car, since it costs $100. I wanted to use my sisters Toyota Corolla, which has a manual parking break, BUT her windshield was recently replaced (After she got a new registration sticker) and so the sticker is really messed up, but you can still identify the color and number.. My sister says she doesn't know if they'll accept her car for the roadtest because of the sticker? |
