Question: How do I disable the safety to a fuse box? Posted: 06 Nov 2014 10:53 AM PST "...and that's what started the fire that burnt down the building". Dude, please think just what a 'safety' cut-out is for. IF it is tripping-out, then you have a problem - which needs sorting by someone qualified. |
Question: I failed my driver's test? Posted: 06 Nov 2014 10:00 AM PST I was really sad and disappointed in myself yesterday because I failed my driver's test. I feel like I am a decent driver, and my parents told me honestly I would pass, but I failed miserably. I knew I made some mistakes, but my instructor also confused me on directions and took points off for it. I feel like now I'm never going to pass because I got so many points taken off. I thought I was a decent driver, but after the test the instructor criticized me so much. Can someone please make me feel better? I just feel really down right now since I had to tell all my friends I failed, and disappointed in myself for failing. |
Question: I hit a car backing out? Posted: 06 Nov 2014 09:25 AM PST I hit a car backing out? I hit a parked car in a garage backing out. I don't think I did much damage, if I did, it was completely cosmetic and very small. The owner said it was okay and she helped me back out because I literally just got my license YESTERDAY. No information was exchanged or anything, but my question is, can I still get in trouble? It very obviously wasn't on purpose, and she seemed annoyed about it understandably but not angry, and she never asked for my information or gave me hers, pulled my car out for me, and then walked away after I apologized several times. Can she call the cops on me? And could I lose my license? I live in NY |
Question: Can anyone tell me what's going on with my Toyota? Posted: 06 Nov 2014 09:20 AM PST Can anyone tell me what's going on with my Toyota? I have a 2002 Toyota Tundra SR5, which I haven't had any problems with. About 15 miles into my drive the other day, I felt a big clunk once I hit about 30 mph. I slowed down to a stop light, took off again and same thing. I ended up driving back 20 miles to a mechanic where it did this the whole way, and the second he got in to experience it, NOTHING. He checked everything he could. The mounts, transmission, sensors, joints, etc etc etc and couldn't find anything. So I drove the next day and still no problems. Well today, the 3rd day, I go to back out of my drive way and I feel a big clunk, like a very hard transition into the reverse gear, then the same thing going into drive. It kind of clunked down the road while shifting, but after about 5 minutes, NOTHING. My mechanic said it can't be anything physically broken because it would happen consistently. He said it is a possible glitch in a sensor. Anyone have any advice or input? |
