Question: Car insurance rate goes up after adding another car to policy.? Posted: 19 Aug 2016 08:22 AM PDT i have progressive car insurance and my 6 months is due at the end of August but just recently I bought a 2013 camry hybrid and I added in to my policy and my rates increase by 280 dollars just for the 2 week of insurance before my billing date. I am wondering like am I paying a extra 280 a month for insurance or is progressive charging me for the whole month cuase that would mean I m paying a total of 500 a month for 2 cars. Idk can some please explain. -I added the car is mid August and my insurance is due at the end of August. ![]() |
