Should I add an extra battery for my system?

I have dual Sundown Audio SA8's with a JL500 Amp. I'm running it with strong Rockford Fosgate 4 gauge wires, and off of my stock 03 Mitsubishi Galant main battery/isolator/etc. I get strong power, and all my settings are right on notch (sometimes my lights dim at high bass hits, but I was told adding a battery wouldn't help that, it could be poor wiring)
So, what are the benefits if I add a battery in my trunk? Like, a Kinetik battery for more power? Would it give me more power out of my subs (even though I can only push 500RMS from amp) or would it be just a waste?
