Question: Do small passenger planes have black boxes too? Posted: 08 Aug 2016 01:46 AM PDT Not on the Caravan or PC-12 . Flight data and cockpit voice recorders are required on: Multiengine turbine-powered airplanes or rotorcraft seating 10+ passengers
Question: As a pilot how can i stop being so tense? Posted: 08 Aug 2016 12:08 AM PDT As you gain experience you will relax. It's normal to be tense when you first start flying. Soon you will realize that the plane will fly along quite well with minimal guidance from you. The one immediate bit of advice is something you can physically do - make sure you do not have a "death grip" on the controls. If you are trying to wrestle the plane into submission it will only make things worse. Trim the plane for level flight, and try flying it with only 2 fingers on the yoke - you can even let go of the controls for a few seconds while you relax your hands.
Posted: 07 Aug 2016 11:26 PM PDT "Leaving Flight school" you are not qualified to work for an airline - typically you would have 300 to 350 hours. In the US you need an ATP, which requires 1500 hours, to be considered for an airline job. You will not even be applying to airlines, you will be applying to flight schools, small charter operators, sightseeing tours, banner towing companies, skydiving operators, any place that will let you fly a plane on their dime while you build hours.

Question: Should i worry how long it takes to get my ppl? Posted: 07 Aug 2016 04:59 PM PDT Very few pilots get a PPL with minimum hours - I heard the average in the United States is 63 hours of dual and solo practice flying - Your only worry, if any, is finances -
