Question: Which used SUV will last me a while? Posted: 09 Aug 2016 08:08 PM PDT either one will last a while. at that mileage that mileage difference isnt that big, like when walking 10 miles, then 63 yards wont make that much difference either, in matter of the distance alone. that means in relation to mileage, it wont matter wether the toyota with 125k miles or the nissan with 117k miles, better is then to get the younger 2011 build vehicle than the 2009 build vehicle, if the 2009 murano does not has any significant advantage over the 2011 rav4. they shouldnt be build much different and have about same qualities, anemities etc., the choice would be then the younger vehicle, the 2011 toyota rav4, the mileage difference doesnt matter much for the reason as written in the beginning. |
Posted: 09 Aug 2016 04:58 PM PDT What you OWE on the car isn't what's important. It's what the dealer will trade the car for. If the dealer is will to give you $6,000 for the car, then maybe you can make that work. BUT you will be loosing on the deal. You can be sure the dealer only paid $4,000 for the car you just bought. And he will turn around and put your car back on the lot for $8,000. Hey car dealers gotta make a living you know. Now you have a less valuable car, but still owe $6,000. So don't do it even if you can. |

Question: If I wanted to buy a $40,000 car how much money should I budget ? Posted: 09 Aug 2016 03:53 PM PDT $40000 plus at least the money income of 3 months. only $40000 would mean then to be bankrupt after purchasing the car, that is why there is the need to "budget" far more money than only the $40000 to buy the car, the 3 month money income is the minimum to have or "budget" as the question says on top of the $40000 to make a normal living without bankrupcy or the threat of bankrupcy. better would be to "budget" $400000 in the bank account, because only when someone doesnt mind to simply throw away a $40000 car to then buy another one cash for $40000, then he or she really can afford a $40000 car. |
