Question: Forward to reverse 'J turn'? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 11:00 AM PDT I am trying to figure out what this maneuver is called. A J turn is when the vehicle is going in reverse, does a 180, and then continues forward. A 180 is when the vehicle is going forward, does a 180, and then continues going forward now in the opposite direction. What is it called when the vehicle is going forward, does a 180, and then goes into reverse and continues in the same direction? At 2:13 of this clip you can see an example of the maneuver: Strictly a curiosity question, I do not plan on attempting this. Thanks. |

Question: Do you prefer automatic cars or stick shift cars? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 08:31 AM PDT stick shift cars are still generally more economic and cheaper than automatics. in some high end cars, automatics are getting so good they they allow for more speed and better fuel economy but thats only on high end cars with advanced automatic gearboxes. beyond this and on a more personal leve, I prefer stick shift. |
