Question: A good beginner sport bike for a tall rider (6'2-6'5)? Posted: 18 Aug 2016 06:39 PM PDT Forget 'sport bike' and think sporty-standard. The 500 MIGHT be okay but shy away from the 600s for now. Will suggest that you look for a nice dual-sport or standard to learn how to ride, sport-bikes aren't made for larger people, most Moto-GP racers/riders are smaller. Look for a nice used 500 twin as a starter bike although a 300 can still move down the road okay for a learning curve advantage, better to learn HOW to made a slower bike ride faster than ride a faster bike ride slower. |
