Posted: 21 Sep 2014 08:46 PM PDT Should I finance my car with a down payment for a car or should I zero down and refinance later? I've been thinking about getting the Honda fit for a while now and my budget is about 10000 for the car. I make about 1200 a month and even though I have good credit, it's been less than a year since I started building credit. I can afford 300 a month but if it's less than that then I'm cool with that too. I currently have a 2002 Honda accord that my dad bought for me two years ago and it's already salvaged. And I recently like two days ago found out that I have really bad frame damage |
Posted: 21 Sep 2014 08:21 PM PDT Does anyone know where I can get a secured loan for a car I want to have a small shop custom build? It seems my local bank is unwilling to fund such a thing because since the car is not yet built, there is technically no collateral. |
Question: Trading used car for another used car? Posted: 21 Sep 2014 08:03 PM PDT Trading used car for another used car? I own a 2004 Chryler Sebring and, due to a small fender bender as well as other reasons, I want to trade in this car to obtain another used car. How can I go about doing this? I tried to offer a trade privately in the past, even before the little accident, but nobody seemed to want it, so private selling seems like out of the question. |
Question: What is a realistic loan term for a used car? Posted: 21 Sep 2014 07:44 PM PDT What is a realistic loan term for a used car? I've got a decent credit score (around 734) and the used car is $19,000. I know I should be going to the dealership and/or bank to ask this but it's just out of curiosity! Thanks! |
Posted: 21 Sep 2014 07:33 PM PDT Help me understand, was offering to give a solid car to BF & I get excuses doesn't want it? My bestie said she's over 30k in debt & for at least a year has had terrible car problems with her old old car, leaking oil, barely makes it up a hill... yadayada..Also might lose her job soon... anywho, I said I'd give mine to her it's NICE solid, NO problems, VERY low miles for the year (average apx 8500 mi a yr.) no leaks, really nice car. No major accidents, had major svc.. She said no, I've heard the service costs alot. My gracious it's used value is minimum 8k & it's japanese, NO WAY is "expensive" to svc. she wants to lease something new instead. How is this making any sense? Would you refuse a pmt free situation & a rockin' vehicle with all bells & whistles, sound system really solid car. Gorgeous too - in this situation?? I don't get it?? It's nicer than any car she's ever owned & I bought it brand new & paid it off some while ago. ?? I'm confused . |
Question: 2003 Honda civic driver door - price? Posted: 21 Sep 2014 07:21 PM PDT Selling such items are nearly impossible. Price would be roughly half of new if you had a buyer. But you don't. Finding someone who needs what you have is like a needle in a haystack. People who need them buy from junkyards, not some dude. |
