Question: What is it with tailgaters on narrow windy roads with no shoulder? Posted: 27 Sep 2014 08:36 PM PDT As you are in front you are doing all the thinking and watching for danger ,so anyone behind can just concentrate on keeping close ,goading you to go faster, which you do. They watch for your brake lights so if you have manual transmission try gear down shifts rather than the foot brake, reduce speed and they will get the message. |
Question: How old do you have to be in the front seat of a car in Alabama? Posted: 27 Sep 2014 08:11 PM PDT It is safe for you to sit in the front seat, but it is extremely dangerous for your little brother to sit in the front seat. Your little brother needs to sit in the back seat in a car seat with a 5 point harness or a booster seat that positions the adult seat belt. A properly used car seat with the 5 point harness is always safer than a properly used booster seat, especially when the the 5 point harness seat is used with the top tether strap. Some vehicles have lap-only seat belts in the center of the back seat. These lap only seat belts provide less protection than lap/shoulder seat belts. Booster seats must be used with a lap/shoulder seat belt, while car seats with the 5 point harness can be safely installed with a lap only belt. If you have any more safety questions regarding car seats or child passenger safety, please post them on here: http://www.car-seat.org/ |
Question: Denver Driver's License? Posted: 27 Sep 2014 05:25 PM PDT Just show up sober. Hand the test administrator a cup of urine, before he or she has to ask. If they refuse, forcefully retry to give them the urine. This is part of the test. They want drivers to be aggressive, when it comes to driving sober in Colorado. No matter what, make sure they take the urine. |
Question: What are some good, safe, fast cars under 8k? Posted: 27 Sep 2014 12:37 PM PDT Sports cars and young drivers equals high insurance premiums bud. I'd look into American muscle like a nice 2004 mustang gt. If possible get a parent to insure it under their policy to get a lower quote. Also, make sure it's a 5 speed manual tranny, only chicks drive auto sport cars. |
